ZSU-23-4 "Shilka" is a Soviet-made anti-aircraft self-propelled installation designed for direct anti-aircraft cover of ground troops, destruction of air targets flying at speeds up to 450 m/s, at distances up to 2500 meters and heights up to 1500 meters, as well as ground (surface) targets at a distance of up to 2000 meters from a place, from a short stop and in motion.
It was part of the air defense units of the ground troops of the regimental level.
