The M270 MLRS is an armored self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system.
Since 1983, the US military used these rocket launchers for the first time.
The USA and European countries produced a total of about 1,300 M270 units and about 700,000 branched missiles.
In 2003, after the delivery of the last batch of the Egyptian army, the M270 was officially discontinued.
Among them, 50 machines are in actual service of the German army, 202 machines were used for backup.
