The German project of the super-heavy tank Pz.VII Löwe (or "Lion") was not implemented in metal; there were only design drawings and a wooden model, since it was abandoned in favor of developing an even heavier Maus tank. The project was developed by Krupp from 1941 to 1942, but was closed in 1942, and its development did not go beyond the next board.
