CV90 is a modern Swedish tracked infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). The first prototypes of the machines were created in 1988, and mass production began in 1993 and continues to this day. The drive - depending on the version - is provided by one Scania DS14 or Scania DC16 diesel engine with an output of 550 or 810 hp. The vehicle in the basic version is armed with a 40 mm automatic cannon and one 7.62 mm machine gun.
