The SMK was a prototype armored vehicle developed by the Soviet Union prior to World War II. It was named after Sergei Mironovich Kirov, a party leader who was killed in 1934.
The SMK was discovered and classified by German intelligence as a T-35S, leading to a misunderstanding that the T-35 took part in the Russo-Finnish War.
