The M22 Locust was an American light tank from World War II. The first prototypes were built in 1941, and mass production continued in the period 1942-1944. A total of 830 copies of this machine were built. The M22 Locust was powered by a single carbureted engine. Lycoming 0-435T 162 HP . It was armed with one 37mm M6 cannon in the turret and one 7.62mm Browning 1919 machine gun.
