The KV type tank, currently under development, wins the 1939 Kirov Plant heavy tank competition named after the KV-1. The model number calls the KV-1 1941 model a "small turret", the first material in the KV-1 L-11 76.2 mm artillery types.
In July 1940, the heavy type was transferred to the KV series of tanks by the Kirov Plant of 100 production; from now on, the KV-1, which all produced, was replaced by more advanced F-32 types in the function of 76.2 mm artillery.
