T29 (English Heavy Tank T29) is an experimental heavy tank of the United States during World War II. It was planned for mass production, but its development was not completed by the end of the war. The first prototype of the T29 was completed in October 1947, when the need for these tanks disappeared, so the order for its production was canceled after the release of eight prototypes of different variants. However, despite this, the T29 later served as the basis for the entire line of heavy post-war US tanks.
