Since July 1941, the plant began producing Soviet T-40S. The rear part of the hull is made of flat armor plate (without deflections for installing the screw), the front and side armor of the hull is reinforced to 15 mm, the front and side turret are reinforced to 20 mm, fully welded tanks are made. This design is unofficially known as "030" or T-30. Since September 1941, a number of T-30 tanks have been produced, equipped with a 20-mm ShVAK automatic cannon (Beitan 750 shells), this is the latest model of the development.
