Indian T-90S MBT

1/35 scale Indian tank model T-90S MBT, Trumpeter 05561. Hard level set.

The T-90 was developed by the Kartsev-Venediktov Design Bureau at the Uralvagonzavod plant in Nizhny Tagil. The production model is based on the T-72BM with some added features from the T-80 series.
T-90 with 840 hp engine. (630 kW) was put into production in 1993 on the basis of a prototype, designated T-88. High-explosive reactive armor "Kontakt-5" of a new generation was installed on its hull and turret.
In the traditional layout, the T-90 is a major upgrade of all T-72 systems, including the main gun. The T-90S was designated as an export model.
