BA-20 is a Soviet light armored car of the 1930s. Created in 1936 on the chassis of the GAZ-M1 passenger car. It was mass-produced from 1936 to 1942, a total of 2114 armored cars of this type were produced, in various versions, including armored rubber tires. The BA-20 was used by the Red Army in the battles at Khalkhin Gol and the Soviet-Finnish War, as well as at the initial stage of the German-Soviet War. Decommissioned in the first post-war years.
Captured BA-20s were also used by Germany, Romania and Finland (decommissioned by the Finnish army only in 1957).
