The M19 Tank Transporter (US catalog designation G159) was a heavy tank transporter used during World War II and in the 1950s. It consisted of a 12-ton 6×4 M20 Diamond T Model 980 truck and an accompanying 12-wheel M9 trailer.
Over 5,000 were manufactured and used by Allied armies in all theaters of war. During the war it was replaced in the US armed forces by the M25 tank transporter, but was used to good effect for other tasks. In the early 1950s it was replaced by the Thornycroft Antar, which was in British service, although some remained in service until 1971.
