The 45-mm anti-tank gun 53-K is a Soviet semi-automatic anti-tank gun with a caliber of 45 millimeters. It was used at the first stage of the Great Patriotic War, but due to insufficient armor penetration it was replaced in 1942 by a more powerful M-42 cannon of the same caliber. The 1937 model gun was finally discontinued in 1943; between 1937 and 1943, USSR industry produced 37,354 such guns.
