The PaK 44 (German: Panzerabwehrkanone 44) was a German 128 mm towed heavy anti-tank gun during World War II. The first prototypes of the gun were created in 1943, and shortly after that (in 1944) mass production began, ending with the release of only about 50 copies of this weapon. The maximum flight range was 24,500 m, and the initial velocity of the projectile was 935 m/s.
