8.8 cm Flak 36/37 - German heavy anti-aircraft gun, development of the Flak18 gun. Compared to the original, the barrel of the gun has changed, now it had a tube with a split core. The gun mount and chassis were also changed. These changes made it possible to maneuver the gun both forward and backward. In the Flak 37 version, the communication system with the battery control unit has been upgraded. Like the Falk 18, the Flak 36/37 featured high vertical and horizontal flight parameters, as well as high armor penetration. Since 1940, it has been massively used as an anti-tank weapon.
