Rapid-firing 6-pounder (eng. Ordnance Quick Firing 6-pounder 7cwt or simply “6-pounder”) is a British 57 mm anti-tank gun during the Second World War. The name comes from the approximate mass of an armor-piercing projectile. It was used both independently on a wheeled carriage and for arming a number of British tanks and armored vehicles.
