PzH 2000 (German: Panzerhaubitze 2000) is a German self-propelled artillery installation (SAU), developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann in 1998.
It is equipped with a 155 mm howitzer with a length of 52 caliber, a navigation system, an automated fire control system, a manual loading system with an ammunition set of 60 shells and 228 modular projectile charges, a fire detection and automatic fire extinguishing system, a protection system. It is also possible to install hinged dynamic protection blocks on the roof and sides of the tower. The PzH 2000 is capable of firing three shells in nine seconds or ten in 56 seconds at a range of up to 30 km.
