Sd. Kfz. 8 - heavy semi-track tractor. Like all half-track tractors produced during the war in Germany, the Sd.Kfz. 8 had a front steered car axle and a half-track drive. Each side of the engine was equipped with six double rubber support slides. It was mainly used to transport 21 cm Mörser 18 mortars, 15 cm Kanone 18 guns and 10.5 cm FlaK 38 heavy anti-aircraft guns. The tractor also served as a base for the creation of a self-propelled artillery installation armed with the legendary 88 mm Fla anti-aircraft gun. der 8.8-cm Flak 18.
