Who is Groot?
Groot is a comic book and movie character, a tree-like humanoid (representative of the colossus flora species) with high intelligence. From the Dutch "Groot" translates as big, which is a reference to the ability to increase. Although he is very intelligent, his vocal cords are rigid and so he is mostly limited to the phrase "I am Groot", which can mean anything.
