The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer is a space destroyer from the Star Wars universe, fighting in the ranks of the Galactic Empire. He first appeared on screen in the film “Star Wars: A New Hope” (Part I or IV of the saga). The ship has large onboard weapons, including cannons, laser and ion cannons. It can also carry several dozen TIE fighters and associated ships, as well as AT-AT and AT-ST walkers. The length of the car was 1600 meters. The drive is powered by seven ion engines. The Imperial I class space destroyers were designed at Kuat Driver Yards and initially manufactured there. They were introduced into service during the Clone Wars in 19 BBY and later served primarily with the Galactic Empire against the Rebellion as the primary heavy ship of its fleet. Their primary role was to act as flagship.
