In Andorra la Vella, on the right bank of the Valira River and at an altitude of 970 meters above sea level, is the pre-Romanesque church of Santa Coloma. It is one of the oldest, most beautiful and most interesting examples of Romanesque architecture in the country. He is mentioned in the act of consecration of the Cathedral of La Seu d'Urgel in 1040.
The structure of the church consists of a single nave and a rectangular plan, a square apse facing east, a doorway and a simple porch on the south wall. nave and four-tiered round bell tower, the construction of which can be dated to the 12th century based on the 11th century models.
