The Shelby Mustang is a high-tech version of the Ford Mustang, produced by Ford from 1965 to 1970. The Shelbys were a series of Ford Mustangs, modified by Carroll Shelby and sold under the Shelby GT brand with Shelby Cobra logos. Since 1968, the model has been called the Shelby 500 or Shelby 350, respectively. Ford helped with its production facilities to compete with the Corvette (also supported by Chevrolet).
