Plastic scale model 1/72 Helicopter AH-64 Apache 0159
The McDonnell-Douglas (Boeing) AH-64 was selected as the winner of the competition against Bell's YAH-63 in December 1976. The name Apache was assigned to the helicopter in 1981. This highly efficient machine has four-blade rotors driven by two General Electric T700-701 turbine engines producing 1,696 hp. The rudimentary wings are equipped with conventional flaps, and the lamellar tail improves longitudinal control. The crew of two takes place one behind the other in the armored cabin.
