As of July 2011, 174 aircraft have been ordered, including 53 for the German Air Force, 50 for France, 27 for Spain, and 22 for the United Kingdom. In addition, aircraft have been ordered for the Air Forces of Turkey, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan.
Airbus plans to produce 30 aircraft per year.
The first 4 production aircraft were to roll off the assembly line in 2012. Airbus Military plans to deliver the first A400Ms to the French Air Force in early 2013. As of January 2017, 38 aircraft have been prod
