Su-57 (project index T-50[8], according to NATO codification: Felon[9] - "Criminal") is a fifth-generation multi-role fighter, created by the P. O. Sukhoi Design Bureau as part of the complex target program "PAK FA". The aircraft was designed to replace the Su-27 heavy fighter in the Aerospace Forces. India was previously involved in the development, but later withdrew from the development.
The first flight of the T-50 was made on January 29, 2010. In 2013, small-scale production of aircraft began at KnAAZ (where prototypes were assembled) for weapons testing. In the summer of 2019, serial production of the fighter was launched.
