Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" is an American heavy bomber developed by the aviation company "Consolidated Aircraft" in San Diego (California). Early in design and development, the aircraft model was known as the Model 32, and a small number of early examples were sold as the LB-30 bomber. During World War II, the Consolidated B-24 Liberator was used extensively by all branches of the US armed forces, as well as by many Allied air forces and navies.
