Developed at the Sukhoi Design Bureau, operation in the Air Force began in 1985, but was officially adopted only in 1990.
Su-27UB (T-10U/"Flanker-C") is a two-seat training and combat modification. Serially produced since 1986, the Su-27 aircraft, together with the MiG-29 aircraft, is the main fighter aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force and is used to combat enemy aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles in the air, as well as to destroy ground (sea) targets.
