Horten Ho IX (also Gotha Go 229) is an experimental turbojet aircraft developed in Germany during World War II. Aerodynamic scheme - flying wing. It was designed by the Horten brothers since 1931. On March 1, 1944, the Horten Ho 229 V1 made its first flight, and a year later, in February, the second example flew, but as a fighter. 18 "machine kits" were produced, but their assembly was suspended in 1945.
