The main combat aircraft of the French Air Force in the late XX - early XXI century. It is in service with several countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
The Mirage 2000 assembly line was shut down in 2007 after the delivery of the last aircraft. The last Mirage 2000 was delivered to the Hellenic Air Force on 23 November 2007. The French Air Force is replacing the Mirage 2000 aircraft with the Dassault Rafale multipurpose fighter, which was adopted by the Air Force on June 27, 2006.
