The A-7 Corsair II is an American attack aircraft developed by Ling-Temko-Vot in the mid-1960s based on the F-8 Crusader fighter. It was in service with the US Navy and Air Force, and was actively used during the Vietnam War, as well as in several other armed conflicts. It was decommissioned in the US in the 1990s, but several countries continued to operate the A-7 later.
