Coastal interceptor Blysvka of the Imperial Japanese Navy is a single-seat all-metal fighter-interceptor of the coast-based Navy. It was developed in the Kavanishi Aviation Design Bureau under the leadership of S. Kikuhara on the basis of a mid-range jet fighter. The flight of the prototype took place at the end of 1942, adopted for service with the Navy aviation at the end of 1943 under the code Blyskavka (Syden in Japanese). He was considered one of the strongest fighters of his time. The Blyskavka-2 modification of the low-flying scheme had the unofficial name Blyskavka-M (Japanese: Seiden-Kai). Conventional designation of the Allied Air Force George (George).
