Trumpeter 02806 1/48 scale model of the MiG-15bis fighter.

The kit includes:
summers with details
decal,
scheme for painting the model,
step by step instructions.

The MiG-15bis is an improved version of the MiG-15 produced by the former Soviet Union. In connection with the success of the development of the MiG-15 aircraft, the Mikoyan KB quickly improved its design, including: increasing engine thrust, improving the equipment and control systems of the aircraft, strengthening the local structures of the aircraft to adapt to increased flight speed. The improved prototype made its first flight in September 1949 and went into production in early 1952 under the name MiG-15bis. "Bis" comes from Latin, meaning "again", and here it means: "an improved model derived from a prototype". NATO uses the code name "Fagot-B" (Fagot). MiG-15bis and MiG-15 differ little in the shape of the aircraft. However, the MiG-15bis aircraft produced after 1953 had the control and measurement equipment
