Sopwith F.1 Camel (Clerget) is a British fighter aircraft of the First World War, which was developed by the Sopwith Aviation Company. It first took to the air on December 22, 1916 and quickly became known for its outstanding maneuverability and firepower. Camel was equipped with a 9-cylinder stellar engine Clerget 9B, which developed a power of about 130-140 hp.
