Junkers Ju 87 ("Junkers-87"), "Stuka" (German: Stuka, from Sturzkampfflugzeug - "dive bomber") - single-engine two-seat (pilot and rear gunner) dive bomber and attack aircraft of the Second World War. The designer of the machine is Hermann Pohlmann (German: Hermann Pohlmann). The first flight was in 1935, combat use was in 1936 as part of the Condor Legion in Spain. Almost 6,500 Ju 87s were built between 1936 and August 1944.
