The Mirage-2000 is a French multi-purpose fighter jet developed by the Dassault Aviation company in the 1970s. The main combat aircraft of the French Air Force in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Adopted by the armies of several countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
The Mirage 2000 assembly line was stopped in 2007 after the delivery of the last aircraft. The last Mirage 2000 was sent to the Greek Air Force on November 23, 2007. The French Air Force is replacing the Mirage 2000 with the Dassault Rafale multipurpose fighter, which was adopted by the Air Force on June 27, 2006.
