Description
"Fairy Swordfish" ("Fairy Swordfish", English: Fairey Swordfish) is a British deck-based torpedo-carrying biplane produced by the Fairey Aviation Company during the Second World War. The aircraft was in service with the Royal Navy Air Force, as well as with the Royal Air Force of Great Britain, Canada and the Royal Netherlands Navy Mk.II - a more powerful Bristol Pegasus 30 engine was used (the first few still had the IIIM). Added the ability to use unguided missiles, for this the lower wing was partially covered with metal. (1080 copies)
