North American T-28 Trojan - American piston training aircraft. It made its first flight on September 24, 1949. It was mass-produced in 1950-1957 (1948 machines were produced), until the 1980s it was used by the US Air Force and Navy for basic pilot training. It was successfully used as a light counter-guerrilla aircraft during the Vietnam War and in Laos.
