The P-51 Mustang is known as the best fighter of World War II. This is a new type of fighter developed by North American Airlines in 1940 after receiving a large number of orders from the British Air Force. The first batch of Mustang I fighters was delivered in August 1941 and was used in combat in September of the following year. British pilots reported good maneuverability, low altitude maneuverability and speed. Based on the P-51 fighter, various models were developed, such as high-altitude fighters, reconnaissance aircraft, and dive bombers.
