Description
Assembly model 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IX Italeri 0094
The Spitfire is certainly the most famous and well-known fighter of the Second World War. This protagonist of all the dogfights of the conflict was designed in the 1930s and through continuous evolution and improvement of aerodynamics, engine and armament it remained in service with numerous air forces until after the advent of the first jets. The MK.IX version was the one produced in the greatest number of examples from the end of 1942 when the appearance of the FW-190 pushed the English designers to further refine the aircraft.
