The Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 was the last significant modification of the German twin-engine fighter-bomber Bf 110, which proved to be in demand as a night interceptor. This version was developed in 1943 and had several key improvements over previous modifications. Two Daimler-Benz DB 605B engines, which provided about 1,475 hp each. These engines improved the overall performance of the aircraft, including speed and maneuverability. The nose of the aircraft was usually equipped with two 30 mm MK 103 cannons.
Some versions were fitted with additional 20 mm MG 151/20 cannons in the upper and side fairings, increasing firepower.
In some cases, torpedoes or bombs could be used for strike missions.
