YW-701 is a modern Chinese-made command vehicle. The machines are driven by one 320 hp engine. The length of the car is 5.48 meters with a width of 2.98 meters. The main armament is a single 12.7 mm machine gun. The YW-701 was created as a development option for the Chinese YW-531 armored personnel carrier, the first variants of which appeared in the ranks of the Chinese army in the 1960s. Compared to its prototype, the car has many components - incl. engine, suspension, chassis, or overall body shape.
