Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus" (Maus - "Mouse", another name - Porsche Typ 205 or Pzkpfw.VIII Maus) is a super-heavy tank designed in the Third Reich between 1942 and 1945 under the leadership of Ferdinand Porsche. It is the heaviest tank ever made in metal (combat weight – 189.9 tons). Only two copies of the car were built. He did not take part in hostilities. To date, only one Maus tank has survived in the world, assembled from parts of both specimens, in the Technical Center in Patriot Park.
