The Elefant self-propelled gun is a German self-propelled artillery unit from World War II, also known as the Ferdinand. This powerful armored vehicle was developed in 1943 and was used in battle on the Eastern Front.
The Elefant's main armament was the huge 88mm KwK 36 L/56 cannon, which was renowned for its power and penetration. The Elefant was heavily armored, making it virtually invulnerable to most Allied anti-tank weapons of the time.
