The armored personnel carrier Grizzly (Grizzly) was developed in the late 1970s by the Swiss company Mobar by order of the Canadian army.
Serial production of the armored personnel carrier began in 1979. In total, about 491 cars were produced.
Currently, the Grizzly APC is not a direct combat vehicle.
It was replaced by the Bison armored personnel carrier. However, Grizzly armored personnel carriers were converted into support vehicles.
