The Germans developed several working amphibious vehicles during World War II. The first model was developed as an amphibious tracked all-terrain vehicle in 1936. A successor vehicle is being actively developed on the Eastern Front in response to these vehicles, which were not armored. It uses the Panzer IV hull on the Panzer ferry, armor applied, hull shape and boat-shaped propeller were equipped with its feature. In 1941, development began, two prototypes of the vehicle were completed in 1942.
