Cruiser tank Mk.III (Eng. Tank Cruiser Mk.III), A13 - British cruiser tank of the 1930s, light in weight.
It was developed in 1936-1937 on the basis of the American tank engineer D. Christie and became the first in the line of British cruiser tanks to receive a suspension of its design.
In 1938-1939, 65 Mk.IIIs were produced, but the new tank turned out to be extremely unreliable and had a lot of other shortcomings, so it was not put into mass production.
The produced vehicles were used in France in 1940 and in North Africa in 1941 to a limited extent.
