Description
Assembly model 1/24 Rally car FIAT 131 Abarth Rally OLIO Italeri 3667
The Fiat 131 Abarth is based on a two-door sedan. The modification of the Abarth included many interventions, such as lightening the body, creating larger wheel arches, and installing air intakes on the hood and sides to optimize mechanical cooling. The Fiat 131 Abarth used a longitudinal 4-cylinder in-line engine with a light alloy head and 4 valves per cylinder. Built in 1976, it was used in the World Rally Championship, where it won three World Constructors' Championships, the FIA Drivers' Cup and the World Drivers' Championship. It took part in international competitions until 1982, when it was replaced by Lancia cars. Some of the sponsor liveries from this period have become iconic in the history of off-road car competition.
