Even details not previously seen on models, such as turret barbettes, have been reproduced as Tamiya challenges traditional ship model standards. This model accurately depicts the Yamato with enhanced anti-aircraft armament during her final mission to Okinawa and can be assembled for either full hull or waterline display.
