Description
The Pfalz E.IV is a fighter aircraft developed by the German company Pfalz Flugzeug-Werke G.m.b.H. A single A.II was fitted with a Fokker synchronizer and one machine gun, after which it was redesignated the Pfalz E.III and produced in small numbers. The largely similar Pfalz E.IV had a strengthened design and modifications to accommodate the 160 hp Oberursel U.III rotary engine, but only 24 examples were built.
