The BTR-70 armored personnel carrier is a combat wheeled floating vehicle designed to transport personnel of motorized rifle units of the ground forces. Four-axle, with independent suspension, eight-wheeled (with all driving wheels), has high dynamic characteristics and smooth running, circular armor and machine gun armament (14.5 mm KPVT machine gun, and 7.62 mm PKT machine gun).
